The FHZ grapple tongs from Fransgård have a strong grapple for gripping and moving logs out of a forest area. Our grapple tongs are very useful, especially when the logs are lying shoulder to shoulder after a storm. The machine is designed for efficient moving of whole or cut logs of different lengths.

The suspension of the grapple tongs is fixed. The front-mounted grapple tongs can be mounted on many types of forestry machines using different types of mounts. Fransgård’s FHZ grapple tongs are very robust and stable and can be used anywhere in the world where there is a need to remove tree trunks.

The sturdy base construction combined with brass bushings in all joints make the grapple tongs very durable and robust, so they can handle most tasks in the forest. The FHZ-2300 has an opening width of 2.3 m. It can also grip and hold logs as small as 15 cm in diameter.
