Product Information
Fransgård’s winches are made and developed in close collaboration with the end user. The winch is continuously developed and updated based on the experience of the many end users worldwide. This makes the winch a highly effective and attractive product for both professional and hobby foresters.
Simple design provides low cost operation and ease of use
The simple and efficient design of the mechanical parts makes the winch very economical in operation and replacement of wearing parts. The winch has a very easy and simple operation, which means that a new user quickly becomes familiar with the operation of the winch.
The steel wire is the most commonly used wear part. Its lifetime can be extended by using chains for mounting around the log. The sliding clutch ensures that the winch and tractor are not unnecessarily overloaded by pulls greater than the winch’s capacity.
